Maryam Shariff
My name is Maryam Shariff and I’m the author of Amira’s Green Friends, written when I was 10, and Electric Shock, written when I was 12. I love horses and admire their proud selves and their impressive rears. Oh, and also, did I mention that I cannot possibly malfunction before I share my love for reading dark, mysterious, evil, murderous, fantastic books? While my journey has involved the participation of several individualistic businesses, I’m currently one of the three founders of The Cakery. I pursue remarkable interests which include Fashion Designing, and Indian food cooking. Yum…I’ll never fail to be piqued by the famous Biriyani's extraordinary traditional taste, which has the true essence of Indian spices. I’ve always been keen on writing which has since evolved into a hobby for the past 8 years, especially LENGTHY novels. I like meeting new people with different cultures and traditions, sharing stories with them, and engaging in fun activities together.

Rumaysa Mohamed Ibrahim
I’m Rumaysa, an enthusiastic Author. I’m 11 and love reading, writing, and doing art at my own pace and style. My hobby is to bake, I try to whip up some yummy cakes and cookies whenever I have some free time. Speaking about baking, my two friends and I have a small baking business, you can order our delicious bakeables if you are located in Chennai! Apart from baking, my ambition is to become a clinical psychologist and help millions of people who are struggling with psychological issues.

Syeda Maryam
I’m Maryam, a 11- year old girl part of the Sunnyside community, and a tree hugger in general. I love reading, writing, and I also love the nature that influences my writing deeply. I also like baking, and calligraphy is something I’m known for. I’ve won several writing contests, including the participation certificate in NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program 2018, for The Lost Butterfly, the RobinAge Bright Sparks Annual Writing contest in 2019, with the winning entry Mr. Icecube, and the Baobabooks Earth Day Challenge 2022, with the winning entry that was published online, Diary of Planet Earth. I’ve also published many poems and short stories in the kids’ magazine, RobinAge. I’m currently working on my novel for NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program 2023, Fangs Of Evil, which will be released on Kindle.

Abdul Muiz
Abdul Muiz is an author, nature and animal lover, avid reader and writer, sports enthusiast and illustrator. In his spare time he… lets not get him in trouble, lets just say he plays a bit (offline, mostly) and sees videos. He loves food or as his mother wrongly puts it as ‘junk.’ Being the middle child and the second he is a little zany and keeps closer to his friends with whom he gets in trouble with. When alone he writes interesting stories that other will love to read.
His alter ego however is an old crab who reads Agatha Cristie and non-fiction books and dresses formally. Sadly it was him who wrote his second book, yet Abdul Muiz was the first person who read the book. Anyways, enough about books, since both hate math class and that is one thing the agree on.

Noorul Huda
I am Noorul Huda; everyone calls me Huda I am 11 years old. Animals have a special place in my heart, and I am one of the founders of a company called Cakery. Writing stories is a favorite hobby of mine. I have always wanted to write books. I am in the process of writing another book. I especially enjoy Horse riding, Baking, Food business & Sports.

Mohammed Ashfaque
I am Muhammad Ashfaque A, and to start off well, I am 14 years old learning life skills and probably a little academics on the sidelines. I usually get up very fresh and energetic first thing in the morning ,if not jerked up from sleep, and get into a good mood throughout the day. I hang out with my friends and do stuff like improving my communication skills. But none have called me a chatterbox yet. I like to play sports with my friends like basketball, badminton etc… I'm an Ailurophile and I keep that up. Love to grasp my hands around a good book and can easily get engulfed in it. I can be lazy at times, but that's not a bad sign because I am just in the 'battery-saver mode' waiting for the right time to use my energy efficiently. Sometimes people see me as clumsy but they really don't know that I am just exploring gravity and the possibilities constantly in an adventure or world of my own. And lastly I guess I have to say THE END…
But do stay tuned!!

Hamdaan Jabir
Hi, I am Joseph Stalin, or you can call me Hamdaan if you prefer. I love to read books and occasionally watch movies. My favourite genres are thriller, horror, fantasy and comedy. Horror books along with some snacks and candy can set a perfect mood. I also adore cats and kittens, but apparently my grandma's a bit too scared of them. Sunnyside is pretty close to my house, like 16 kilometres. I love biryani, and loathe maths (just kidding).
